Thai dumplings very good and the place is clean with a nice atmosphere. It is kind of strange that it is an Indian and Thai restuarant. Neither was great.

I've been here a few times, but only for the lunch buffet. There are some standard items on the buffet, but they also mix in some new items. I've enjoyed every lunch I've had here and for $9 it's fairly reasonable for all the food you're getting. Definitely recommended.

I am not a big fan of Indian food, but my darling sister is. So, after wandering around the boro for a bit last First Friday, we popped into this place. I was surprised by how little people were there, although I think it was a bit later than the usual dinner rush (maybe around 6:30-7). We ordered the samosas to start. It was pretty good. I bit too spicy for me, but I am a BIG spice wuss. I imagine most people would find it just right or not spicy enough. The flavors were good and it was fried just right. My sister ordered the chicken tiki masala and I ordered, after getting patient advice from our waiter, the lamb in cashew sauce. Both of our meals were very delicious. For our tastes, the chicken tiki masala was a bit too sweet and the lamb was a bit too salty. But the cashew sauce was really amazing and addictive. Both meals were served with a square pyramid of seasoned basmati rice. I will say, I wish I had more rice, but it was a good amount. We finished our meal with the banana bread pudding off of the specials menu. It was a little square of bread pudding wrapped in a banana leaf with a small tin side of vanilla ice cream. The presentation was striking, but I did not particularly care for the bread pudding. There was not much of it, but it was also not nearly sweet enough for me. Overall, the food was very delicious, and we both were curious to come back for their lunch buffet. I believe it is only $8.95. What a great deal! Really looking forward to having more of their food.

Spice is pricey, but good. We go for the pad thai and the chicken tikka masala, yum.

We had the buffet which was half empty so I can't judge what food ordered from the menu would be like. The food was mediocre and we all felt nauseous afterwards( one person actually got sick) the lettuce on the salad bar had dirt on it( had not been washed) we won't be going back to this location. We have tried the Spice in Edgemont and it was totally different...very good.

Came here with a group of six people so we sampled lots of appetizers and entrees, Indian, Thai, and Indo-Chinese. Only one or two misses and lots of hits. This place is BYOB if you want to drink, but the Thai iced teas and lassis were awesome.

The food is pretty decent, I am not too crazy about Indian food though. The mango lassi is amazing.

Finally great Indian food in West Chester. I grew up on Manhattan Indian and have been searching for quality Indian. Didn't try Thai yet, but I will be back. Service leaves room for improvement, but the food is worth it.

Had lunch here while visiting WC for a lecture at the University. I was very impressed with the food. Went back a couple of times for the buffet and was surprised that the Indian and Thai food goes together. The sweetness of the Thai dishes and the spiciness of the Indian dishes complimented each other very well.

This place has great food at a reasonable price. When I went, we got a bunch of different Indian and Thai dishes and shared everything. All the dishes that we ordered were delicious. I haven't eaten much Indian or Thai food in the past but I can still say that this is as good as anything I've ever tried anywhere else. The owner came over and talked to us after our meal and she was very friendly and personable. The decor leaves something to be desired but who cares when the food is this good.

Saw their review and profile on Yelp and went there when I came to town. Both the Indian and the Thai food was great. We had some delicious lemongrass soup, naan bread, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Thai Ginger Chicken. Great meal, a bit pricey... but worth it. Best Thai Ginger Chicken I've had in a long time. Good news, you can make a reservation on-line. Bad news, they don't confirm it back to you via email.

I have only been to the west chester location so can't speak for the other location. We have been there about 4 or 5 times since it's been open. Pros: The food is excellent! Probably the best Indian/Fusion I have had in Pennsylvania. There is never a wait. It's located in a great part of west chester and there's plenty of parking on the side streets. The owners are extremely nice and are usually the first to greet you. Cons: The service is pretty poor. The main waiter can be really rude and it can be very hard to get his attention even though the restaurant usually is at 50% capacity. Apparently it does not matter what party is seated first and every time we have been there we've noticed parties arriving after us get there food before we get to place orders. All in all, I would definitely recommend giving them a try at least once.

Wonderful experience in the boro of West Chester last evening. Newly opened Thai & Indian restaurant named Spice. Comfortable atmosphere, excellent service and incredible food. We enjoyed as entrees, both the Evil Jungle Princess and their Pad Thai dish. Both were fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. Very extensive menu, highly recommend.

Great ambience.. not your typical indian ambience.. but very cool.. food was great.. though a tad pricey.. we went for dinner and ordered pineapple fried rice, hara bhara kabob, paneer khurchan and mango lassi.. highly recommended..

Worth it for the buffet. They have a lot of options and a nice variety of dishes. However, I find their regular dinner menu way over priced.

This review is directed toward the owners of Spice. My girlfriend and I have been to your restaurant on more than a few weekend nights for dinner. We love the food. We love the fact that it's byob. The pricing is reasonable for the quality. All of that considered, i gave you the 4 star rating. The interior is decorated nicely and has plenty of space. My main concern, and this is constructive criticism, is the mood/ambiance. I recommend that the music volume be increased a few notches and that you stick to your roots and play pop Indian or progressive authentic ethnic music. Trust me. This place will be packed on the weekends if the ambiance is right. Owners, don't worry. White people will not be scared off. Everyone likes a new and different experience. The music you have playing now makes me feel like I am in an old dingy Chinese buffet. Sorry if this sounds harsh. I really want you to stay in business, as we love your food!

You always have time for Thai. Spice is a neat little spot right in the heart of West Chester, PA. They offer a lunch buffet that is reasonably price with a wide variety of Thai experiences. I always stick to what I know and Tandoori chicken is my favorite. It has an awesome rotisserie char on the outside with a juicy center. The flavors just simply ignite your taste buds. Who said curry goat? I said curry goat. When you hear curry people tend to run far away. Now mix it with goat a protein that leans on the greaser side. So the two can be a disaster, right? But Spice pulls it off flawlessly. The curry covered the goat with every bit, without the overwhelming taste that comes with curry. For me this is their best plate. I love to dip my flat bread right in the sauce. It's heavenly! Bottom line if you feel like putting your taste buds on a roller coaster. Spice is the place for Thai. Enjoy....

It's a buffet....So only $7.95 for all you can eat Indian. That can be good and bad. It can be good because, if the food is good, you can get a great meal for a cheap price. It can be bad because, if the food is good, you are guaranteed to overeat. The good here was good and fresh for a buffet. I had a little of everything, avoiding the eggplant dish and the curry tofu. All else was great. The best part was that, unlike other all-you-can-eat Indian establishments, the naan seemed freshly naked. It was hit, soft and crusty all at the same time. Paired with the authentic seasonings and freshly prepared chicken and spinach entrees, it was a short walk to the land of Indian flavor. The only reason I give this place a three is because of the mood and feel of the place. The greeter/host/owner was salty, at best. I got the sense that he really didn't want customers. The waitress was okay, but if the attitude of the first person you meet walking in is bad, it can dictate the success of the entire experience. Overall I give the food a 4.5. I gave the owner/host a 1. So the average is about a 3. Enjoy it at least once!

This is a decent Indian restaurant. My favorite dishes to order are lamb korma - the combination of spices is out of this world. I have since tried numerous times (unsuccessfully) to replicate it. Another favorite is orange ice cream desert - ice cream is inside real orange peels and I'm pretty sure they use orange in the making as well. Not overly sweet, great taste and very refreshing, a perfect finish to a meal. The reason for three stars is portion size. You get five medium size shrimps in a $10 shrimp appetizer. Flavor is great, but come on! Expect to spend around $30 per person to get full. Not the best value for an Indian restaurant overall.

Changed ownership a few years back & its not nearly as good as it used to be. My boyfriend & I ordered the Mushroom Pepper fry as appetizer - there was hardly any mushrooms in it... We actually had to check to make sure we received the correct app. to what we ordered. I got the Green Curry with Shrimp - had no flavor and was not spicy AT ALL. When asked if I wanted it at a "medium" spice level by our waiter, I asked that it be more towards the "hot" side. It even says its a "spicy" dish in the description... zero flavor and spice. My boyfriend got the Lamb Pepper Fry- again, no flavor, not spicy at all although he asked for it to be. Only Positives: Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. ******There's better Indian food out there - Don't waste your time here.

I'm a huge fan of spicy food and I was not disappointed. The service was ok, it was Valentine's day, but the food made up for the lacking service (there was only one waiter and the cook even had to come out and take orders). I had lamb and my boyfriend had chicken vidaloo. Both were amazing, we'll definitely be going back.

Really delicious food! Friendly helpful staff, made great recommendations. The dishes were rich in flavor, texture, and consistency. The good - -The hostess asked if it was our first time here (it was, as I had only been to the Newtown Square location before this) and gave us two complimentary glasses of red wine. -The mango lassi and Thai iced tea that my friend and I ordered were both delicious. -The naan (we got plain and garlic) was soft and chewey and just the slightest bit crispy on the edges - delicious! -They were spot on with the spice levels that my friend and I requested. -My malai kofta was DELICIOUS and the rice was perfectly cooked and fragrant. (Just watch out for the cloves and cardamom pods!) The "eh" - -We wanted a booth, but were told they were all reserved. Two booths remained empty our for our entire meal. -Prices here are a tiny bit higher than they really need to be. -Service was pretty slow. Normally, I don't mind a leisurely meal at all, but my friend had a concert she had to get to and it seemed like we had to go out of our way to get the server to come back after our meal to get our check and pay. -The blinking Christmas lights along one wall - very distracting and not great for the overall mood of the place!

My most favorite curry place in West Chester and 50 miles around! Why 5stars? Excellent service. A little slow, but it is meant to be as dinner is not supposed to be rushed! Food quality and presentation is very good ambience for your typical Curry house is outstanding, I have not been disappointed with any if the dishes. My favorites: fish kilivada, and the grill, lamb pepper fry, chk tikka masala. Made to order dishes in advance as well. Call ahead for Chef Laddi New Chef in town. Do ask them for a free Indian style "Salaad" which will get you some sliced onions, lime or lemons and some masala on top. its a BYOB

Ate here for dinner this past weekend. Solid Indian food, with the usual vegetarian dishes (samosa, saag paneer, baigan bharta) all pretty dependable. Thai dishes were not as great. Not bad, just nothing to write home about. VERY expensive though. We probably wouldn't return again, but you won't go wrong if you wind up here.

Enjoyed lunch their today w I think my mother. When we arrived around 1:30 we were the only ones in the restaurant. Initially were listening to traditional Indian music which was quite enjoyable but as soon as two mire tables sat towards the end of our meal it was back to Christmas music. We srarted with Tom Yum soup which is my favorite soup in the world. It wasn't the best but enerally good flavor overall. My mother was eyeing up the duck on the regular menu when the server suggested the 'duck on fire' entrée from the specials. Great suggestion, super delicious, crispy skin and awesome fiery presentation. I enjoyed a tried and true drunken noodle for comparison sake. This was delicious as well, perfectly spiced, al dente veggies. We will be back to eat put way through the menu.

We stopped here for lunch while driving through and were very impressed with the buffet. Many tasty Indian dishes with both chicken and vegetarian options. Naan bread was cooked fresh to order. For a buffet, it really was very good... Would definitely return if in the area.

My friend and I came here one regular afternoon for lunch. The service was pretty horrible. Besides that 5 of the buffet menu items were labeled incorrectly when she gave me the tour. She took away my knife and fork and napkin when we sat down for some reason and was slow to give us water. My friend ordered 1 Puri and they gave us a bowel of channa masala for 9 Dollars on the bill that we never ordered. Needless to say the food was also unimpressive. It may not be that expensive but you pay for more than what you get. Don't eat here!

People with allergies, beware!!! My son is strongly allergic to nuts, so while dining at Spice on 6/9/12 we asked the attendant if there were any nuts in the paneer tikka salad. He confidently assured us, "No"... The salad arrived, half an hour later my son was in the emergency room with a shot of epinephrine that saved him... turns out the attendant never conveyed the allergy note to the chef because apparently "they never put nuts in that salad"... "the chef put a cashewnut paste inside the chunks of paneer just that day"... "it was mostly peanuts with just a little piece of cashew"... a never-ending bunch of frivolous excuses that could have ended in a disaster. The reality is that there is no excuse for lack of allergy awareness when you run a restaurant business in a country where the incidence of food allergies is one of the highest in the world. Licensing institutions should consider this when granting licenses to such clueless nincompoops...

I love that this place seems to be two guys, one Indian and one Thai, who have a joint restaurant. Ask the Thai guy an Indian food question and he sends out the Indian guy. Ask the Indian guy a Thai food question and... There are two little tables outside on the street, surrounded by planters, a perfect spot on a nice night. Indian dishes were good, I liked the basmati rice, customized spice on the lamb rogan josh was just right. It's BYO so bring a six pack of something to beat the heat. We were stuffed on lamb, shrimp, daal, saag, naan, and a variety of other heavily voweled dishes. A nice place for dinner with a date. Waitstaff was very accomodating to special requests.

This place started off as our go-to indian restau but it has gone down-hill since those days. Their branch at Newtown Square is better especially for buffets. Service: Decent Food Taste: Average Food Quality: Average Overall, the regular indian fare with no twist! Skip this one if thai food is what you are looking for.

Tasty weekend lunch buffet at $11 per person. It's an interesting, decent combination of Thai and Indian food. Lots of vegetarian options. The only thing was that there was no paneer, but quite a few tofu dishes. I would've liked to see at least one paneer dish. The place is classy and the waiters are nice enough. It's pretty nice for a suburban strip mall. I'd probably be more inclined to come back if it didn't involve a +45 minute drive out of the city.

I admittedly avoided Spice Bistro for a while after it opened. Prior to its takeover, this spot housed a garden variety Cosi, until it was transformed into its slick current incarnation. It's my theory that in general, and particularly with ethnic eateries, the more hole-in-the-wall, the better the food. Spice is clean and modern (as far as West Chester goes), and I find their menu to be a bit too pricey for most entrees, so until I learned of their weekday lunch buffet, it wasn't very high on my list. The two times I've visited for lunch, I've been incredibly impressed with the variety and quality of the food. Also, fresh naan is brought to your table, which is a welcomed touch. If they ever bring down the prices of their regular menu, I'll change this review to five stars.

I have never been to the buffet, which I've heard good things about. I've also never had any of their Thai food, so this is only based on the Indian cuisine. I give it a thumbs up as far as the quality of the food and the service. Like many Indian places here, they tone down the spice even when you order dishes that should be served spicy. I'm a big fan of vindaloo which should be a pretty spicy dish, here however it is not. The flavor however is still very good. Overall, its a good food. The prices are a little high when ordering off the menu. I've seen them on groupon occasionally.

It's ok.. but given that there are any hardly any decent places in 20-30 mile radius, this is probably a four star. Their buffets are rather elaborate.

Stopped in to grab an order of lamb korma and saw the chu chee duck, and couldn't resist. So what did I do? I got an order of each to go. The lamb was very tender and the sauce was deliciously rich and creamy. The duck, while not as fantastic as Thai Orchid's, was still pretty good, with a flavorful, crispy skin and juicy interior. The pineapple was a nice touch too. I would definitely get Indian here but the Thai is okay, too. Just not as good as the Indian.

We had lunch here after touring logwood gardens (it is bit of drive but we wanted India food badly). Was surprised how good the Indian food was - there is also Thai part of the menu but we did not try. The chef came out and checked on the food. Bhindi masala and dal tadka were just perfect.

Spice is a mix of Indian and Thai food. Their menu breaks down the different types of cuisine offered. I have eaten at Spice twice now and the food was excellent both times. My favorite is the Lamb Vindaloo made at the top of their spice scale. Very spicy and very flavorful. The Mulligatawny soup was also very good. The service is average, but friendly. The decor is looks nice and clean. Bottom line- I will go back and if I have friends that like Indian I will surly take them or recommend.

Food was good, but service was not. They were unfortunately short staffed the Saturday night we decided to visit. With that being said, our table was passed by a waitress no less than 8 times before we even received menus, began to feel as if we were not wanted. I gave the experience 3 stars due to the food. Once we were able to order (45 minutes after we were seated), the appetizers and main dishes came in a timely manner. Will definitely give it another shot and will hope the service is much improved!

I went here for the lunch buffet on a Sunday afternoon. The place was empty when we first got there. The two waiters didn't say a word to us. We had to ask for drinks and a menu to look things over. Decided to go with the vegetable samosas for appetizer and did the lunch buffet. The pakora and crispy roll were dry and not crispy the slightest bit. The chicken was dry as well. The samosas weren't that good and trust me, I eat a lot of samosas. The soda that they poured from a can was flat too! Imagine that. The service was poor, we had to ask them froma Diane to refill our drinks. I will not be returning. Want great Indian food, go to shere-e-Punjab in glen mills or media. You will not regret it.

I ventured here for their all-you-can-eat lunch buffet. I left feeling fulfilled - stuffed to the brim! It was not the best Indian food I've ever had, but it was good nonetheless, and the price was right. I'm not sure of everything I ate, because the buffet foods were not all labeled - but I know I had a few curry dishes, some with meat, and some without. I also had some tandoori chicken. The naan is amazing. I love the lunch buffet because for $9, you can get a sample of all the different flavors and dishes. No need to pick just one item from the menu! The ambiance and décor are fairly modern. Our server was quiet, but super attentive. The restaurant is located near the courthouse in downtown West Chester - parking can sometimes be difficult to find. Best to stick with the side streets. I highly recommend giving the lunch buffet a try.

I don't know how common it is to unique Indian and Thai cuisine under the same roof, but when I first encountered Spice, I thought it was a brilliant idea. The exotic, spice-laden flavors of both cultures pair well with each other. I came here for a lunch on a Saturday afternoon, simply because I walked past it and was intrigued by its signage. The place was shockingly empty despite the clean interior and the nice decor; similar to other Thai or Indian restaurants but less intense. The menu is well-stocked and organized, allowing the diner to easily distinguish between foods of an Indian, Thai, or fused origin. There is also a substantial vegetarian section segregated from the rest of the menu to make such restrictions easier to manage. I ordered the Veg Jalfrezi, a spicy collection of vegetables in a tomato-ginger sauce that could not not have been prepared better, with perfectly-sauteed vegetables that were seasoned with a lot of personality. The dishes were served with naan, but actually obtaining the naan was a bit of a trick. It may have just been because the large restaurant was otherwise completely vacant, but the wait staff seemed completely disinterested in keeping us happy. Barely three words were spoken from the moment we entered to the moment we left, even a courtesy, "How was the food?" as the plates were being cleared. I'm hoping this was just a one-time anomaly. The excellent food has ensured a repeat visit from me, though if the wait staff continues to behave like the owners of a funeral home, my wrath will be swift and messy.

We wandered into Spice early one Saturday evening, beating the dinner rush that was to follow. I immediately enjoyed the décor and ambiance; it felt chic and hip without being too full of itself. It took us a while to pour over the menu - so many choices! - but we eventually ordered up a feast which showcased many of their Indian offerings. To start, we sampled a few of the vegetarian appetizers. My favorite of the bunch was the Mushroom Pepper Fry. Mushrooms were cooked with onions, chilis, and spices in a thick, tomato based sauce. This was delicious, and had lots of kick - but the inclusion of fennel seeds made it seem more Italian than Indian. The Papdi Chat came out looking like a mess, but was surprisingly tasty with its mélange of contrasting textures and flavors. The Ragara Patties were my least favorite of the bunch. They had a pleasantly crisp exterior and moist, spicy interior, but there was a slight bitterness to them that I couldn't get past; the accompanying tamarind chutney seemed a bit watered down, and the mint chutney could have used a squeeze of lemon juice to perk it up. For my entrée, I went with the Navarathna Korma - a mix of vegetables simmered in a very mildly spiced cream sauce. The sauce was velvety and rich, with just a hint of sweetness. This dish was subtle and delicate, and well prepared - but a bit too mellow for me, as I prefer more assertive flavors. The Dal Tadka was a thick, well-seasoned yellow dal. This was a good, simple dish, hearty without being heavy. The one panir dish we'd tried was a bit forgettable; it involved cubes of panir in a very tomatoey sauce. A noodle dish we'd tried was also a bit ho-hum. The best dish by far was the Cauliflower Manchurian, one of their Indo-Chinese offerings. Cauliflower was dipped in a flavorful batter and fried, then cooked in a spicy sauce of onions and tomatoes. The zesty and complex flavors of this dish set it apart from the others. Most of these entrees were served in a hammered metal bowl alongside a pyramid of basmati rice; the presentation was lovely, and the portions generous. We also ordered a basket of assorted breads for the table. It was nice to sample several different varieties - the aloo paratha was my favorite! - and there was more than enough for the six of us to share. All in all, our meal was quite enjoyable. It was not exactly cheap, but I think it was fairly priced considering the overall quality and quantity of what was served. The service was dry, but it was efficient and accommodating. I'd definitely return when in the area again. Next time we'll give the Thai menu a whirl!

Breads and NAN were ok but other indian food was below average. We ordered indo Chinese- Hakka noodles and gobhi munchurian- the noodles were pathetic- cooked in tomato ketchup instead of soy sauce. And the cauliflower in Manchurian was not even fried- just raw- stirred up in sauces..

I ate at Spice with my Indian husband and inlaws, having just moved back to the US after 9 years of living in Asia, including 5 in India! I thought the food was really good. The chicken tikka masala was just like in India but not too spicy. The saag lamb was excellent. The pad Thai was really tasty and again not too spicy. Only the aloo gobi (cauliflower and potato) was a little lacking in authenticity. The breads were OK, not amazing. Service was good for the most part, and the atmosphere was mostly good, as well. We will definitely eat here again. I would recommend over Sher-E- Punjab in Glen Mills any day of the week!

WARNING: ONLY COME HERE FOR LUNCH seriously, I'm speaking as your friend here. The dinner prices are incredible pricey and you'll start cringing as soon as you look at the menu unless you're smart and head over there for their weekday lunch buffet. It's a cool $9 a pop for a buffet. It's not old country, but it's two tables of delicious indian and thai food that varies depending on what day you go. I much prefer Spice to the Star of India, which is the only other indian food place that I am aware of, but the indian food is really average in comparison to other places I've been. The lunch buffet is such a deal though that I cant help but give Spice 4 stars. CONCLUSION satisfy your indian food craving and avoid steep dinner prices quality: delicious price: LUNCH ONLY... good.

OK, I admit it: I'm an Indian food noob. My first experience with Indian was in college, and I didn't really start to acquire a taste until I lived in Ireland / UK about 15 years ago. However, that's when I discovered the difference between good Indian and bad Indian. Spice is GOOD Indian. While it is a fusion restaurant, presenting Indian and Thai dishes (and mixes in between), the food is most definitely authentic. On a night out with my wife's brother and his wife, we walked into a restaurant with very much a new-agey "fusion" vibe. Decorated in deep hues of red and orange, with a low level of lighting that I expect at a restaurant. Very clean, and a place that invited me to come in and eat. We had a bread selection to start off, which is an enormous plate of various kinds of naan. As a chili-head, I definitely liked the potato naan, which had a very spicy kick. For the entree, I went with my old favorite: Lamb Vindaloo. For those who haven't had it, its a SPICY Lamb and tomato dish. Its presented at Spice in a small copper pot (best way I can describe it) with a nice side of jasmine rice. Definitely spicy, but not so much that I couldn't enjoy the burn. As for prices, I disagree heartily with the earlier Yelper who said this is a place only for lunch. The most expensive entree was $23, with our entrees costing around $18 each. I consider that VERY inexpensive, particularly for the quality of the food. Service was OK - They were efficient, but didn't really stop to talk much. But, I was never left wanting for water or if I needed something, so as far as covering the important stuff they did fine. We will definitely be going back when we have an urge for a bit of Indian cuisine. Another fine entry into the restaurant boom in West Chester (which again begs the question from me: where the heck were all of these awesome places when I went to school there 20 years ago???)

Worth another visit. Decent food, nice staff. Craving Pad Thai all day at work, and chose Spice after reading some Yelp reviews. Ordered take out for dinner for my Mom and myself. I first I asked for the Pad Thai and the Jinga Masala, but it was $42, which seemed pretty steep for a take out dinner for two. I ended up ordering just the Pad Thai. Unfortunately, when I got home, I saw that there was lemon on the dish. No big deal for me - the more lemon, the better - but my Mom has a weird citrus allergy and can't touch the stuff without getting violently ill. While ordering, I made a point of bringing this up, and was assured that there would be no lemon or lime anywhere near the dish. I called Spice and Sebastian, the man who answered the phone, said that the lemon was just on top, not squeezed on the dish. Moot point since my Mom wouldn't touch it and resorted to some unfortunate looking leftovers. After some haggling, he offered to give me an entree on the house next time I came in. Oddly, he didn't want my name when I offered it... Pad Thai was ok, but didn't have the kick I like. When I try again, I'll be going for the Indian...and hopefully going in for the lunch prices.

Good service is important. It is what connects the customer with the food. It's absence diminishes the dining experience. Service in this restaurant is not dismal or poor. It would have to attend a workshop and work really hard to become merely poor. That said, the food is very good. We waited almost 25 minutes in an empty restaurant for our order to be taken. The food came out from the kitchen one dish at a time and the server had no idea who ordered what. This pattern continued throughout the meal. The finishing touch was the long wait for the check and the long wait for the credit card receipts and cards to return. It's going to be a long time until we return, if ever.

Just went for dinner. ordered chicken kabab for appetizer $8 for 4 small pieces. thai curry $15.75.. quantity was too little.. the naan that they give is half the size of naan that you get in near by indian restaurant Himalayas.. and don't forget $2 metered parking for 1 hr! not worth the money. we spent $55 for 2 entrees and 1 appetizer.
